There are a couple of things to do before you wax to get yourself prepared in the best way possible.
Please make sure you haven’t shaved at least 3 to 4 weeks before your first wax the hair needs to be around a cm in order to achieve the best results.
If this is your first ever wax consider booking your appointment between your periods. We can wax you on your period however it’s usually a little more sensitive.
Please don’t use any moisturisers or numbing cream before your appointment, numbing cream will not penetrate deep enough and both leave a film on top of the skin making it super difficult for us to get a good even spread of wax across the skin.
Gently exfoliate before your appointment in order to remove any dead skin cells this will also dramatically reduce the chance of your getting ingrown hairs.
If your nervous feel free to take a paracetamol and ibuprofen before your appointment just to take the edge off.
PLEASE PLEASE wear big pants especially for your first appointment think period pant, c section underwear, something BIG just to help prevent any irritation. The last thing anyone wants is freshly opened pores and lace rubbing against them.
Remember baggy is best, after your wax wear something loose fitting and comfortable on your journey home
